1. Who we are and what this is

By creating an account or signing in you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service through a school, district, employer or program ("your Institution"), you also agree that your Institution may administer your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Not affiliated with exam owners

Certainto is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA, Pearson, or the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. CompTIA, Network+, Security+, A+, Cloud+, CySA+, SecurityX, Data+, Linux+ and Project+ are trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. GACE is a trademark of the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Names are used only to describe which exam you are practicing for.

3. Exam security — do not submit live exam content

You must not enter, paste, upload or describe questions, answers or other content from a real exam you have taken or will take, or content you know was disclosed in breach of an exam agreement. The Service never asks what was on your exam. If you tell us, we may remove it and suspend your account. Your exam-day agreements with the exam owner remain your responsibility.

4. AI-generated content

Practice questions, explanations and coaching are generated by artificial intelligence and checked by automated tools. They can contain errors and are not official exam content. Use the "Report a problem with this question" link to dispute any question. Disputed questions are removed from use and reviewed automatically; if a question is found to be wrong we correct your recorded result and tell you. We do not promise every error will be caught.

5. No guarantee of results

The Service is a study aid. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam, achieve any score, or obtain any certification, license or job.

6. Your account and acceptable use

Use your own account, keep your sign-in secure, and do not share it. Do not attempt to copy or extract the question bank at scale, interfere with the Service, probe for security weaknesses, or use it to build a competing product.

7. Institutions

If your Institution provides your access, it may see your results as described in the Privacy Policy, and may add or remove your access. Fees, seats and terms between Certainto and an Institution are set in a separate agreement.

8. Fees

9. Our content and your data

We own the Service and its content. You keep ownership of anything you type; you give us a limited licence to process it to operate, secure and improve the Service. We may use de-identified, aggregated results for research and product improvement.

10. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing). 11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using it and request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy).

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
